Thousands of Words

From left to right

Great Aunt Helen

Great Aunt Mary

Grandma Irene, looks like a young WAM

Great Aunt Betty

Great Aunt Ann, no longer with us, who once fell over during a water balloon toss when she was my partner. She was probably in her 80s.

Imagine my surprise when I google image searched myself and saw a picture of my grandma, Anna Shutelock! I clicked it and it brought me here. My dad is her son, George. She's your great aunt??

Hi Annie! Wow, I'm impressed you found that image in a google image search. Yep, she's my great Aunt. Isn't this the same Annie from the family reunion's or a different Annie? Don't you recognize me in my picture for this blog, or the other Grandma's in the first photo of the post?

I really can't believe how much your grandmother does look like me when I was young. Is this the Slovak side of the family? I definitely look like the Slovak side of my family.

No, I don't believe they are Slovak. That's more my other side. But rather shamefully of me I'm actually not so sure what I am made up of. But hey, if you're curious about what you'll look like at about 80, grandma is 3rd from the left in that first pic..
